Two brave employees from Acorn Recovery Projects have completed a daring trek to Everest Base Camp to raise money for charity.
Steven McGrane, Counsellor, and Duncan Anderson, Prison Co-ordinator, braved brutal conditions and below freezing temperatures to make the trek across Everest.
To make the journey, the pair had to acclimatise themselves to 5380 meters to reach their destination, taking in the stunning scenery as they went.
The pair raised £645, and all money raised on will go to East Cheshire Hospice.
Acorn Recovery Projects is an innovative charity providing a range of recovery services which enable individuals and their families to break free from drug, alcohol and other addictions.
