Acorn Recovery Project’s Bank Parade drug and alcohol treatment centre has received a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The report published by the CQC praised the staff at Bank Parade, who provide ‘support suitable to the needs of the clients and in line with national guidance about best practice’, and who ‘treated clients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, and understood the individual needs of clients.’
The report also highlighted the fact that the service ‘employed ex-clients in recovery’, who are able to use their own lived experience to support current clients in their recovery.

Bank Parade is the first residential treatment centre in Burnley, and is delivered by Acorn Recovery Projects.
