A pioneering partnership to combat drug and alcohol addiction has been launched in Oldham.
One Recovery Oldham is an ambitious new service, delivering treatment that will focus on people’s wellbeing across a range of outcomes, such as employment, accommodation and mental health, rather than just tackling the addiction itself.
The service, which will be delivered in partnership with Addiction Dependency Solutions, ACORN Recovery Projects, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, Sodexo Justice Services and Intuitive Recovery, will help to improve aspirations, standards of living and community relations in the area.
It also aims to make treatment more accessible to people in the wider community.
Sarah Hanson, ACORN Recovery Projects’ Managing Director, said:
“ACORN is pleased to part of the new One Recovery Oldham initiative.
“This pioneering partnership has joined together in very difficult times, and will aim to provide cost effective drug and alcohol treatment for people throughout Oldham.”
Part of the Calico Group, ACORN Recovery Projects provide a range of innovative services that enable individuals and their families to break free from drug, alcohol and other addictions.
